The CLEVNET App is back!
We’re thrilled to announce that the CLEVNET app is once again available on the Apple App Store and Google Play! After an unexpected removal of service, we’ve worked diligently with our vendors to address the issue and bring back the app for all users.
You can now download or update the CLEVNET app on your mobile phone to access a wide range of library services, including browsing the catalog, reserving books, and more.
- If your app is still installed on your phone, you can log out and then log back in to use it to search for items and review your account.
- If you removed the app, search CLEVNET in the app store and you can download it again.
To log in, you will need your barcode number and PIN. Please contact your local library if you forgot your PIN.

RESOLVED: Catalog Hoopla Item Download Issue

For those CLEVNET libraries that have Hoopla:
At this time, if you try to download a Hoopla item from the CLEVNET catalog (search.clevnet.org), you will receive an error message, but the item will still successfully download to your Hoopla account. We are aware of the issue and looking into a solution. We will update once this is resolved.

RESOLVED: Problems with the CLEVNET App
There was a known outage of the CLEVNET App on the morning of 8/7/23. This issue has been resolved. Please encourage staff or patrons with holds or checkouts that are slow to load to refresh the app by going to the My Account > Preferences and then pressing the Reload button at the bottom of the screen.
Problems with Libby App
If you are having issues switching from your username to barcode in the Libby app, try deleting the app and reinstalling it.
Resolved – Libby Partial Outage
The issue with Overdrive’s Libby App has been resolved. If you encounter any issues, please get in touch with your local CLEVNET library for assistance.
Overdrive is reporting a partial outage that is impacting their app, Libby. We are communicating with Overdrive and will update you when the problem is resolved.
Changes when Accessing OverDrive/ Libby app
Recent changes made to how users of OverDrive/ Libby authenticate means that usernames will no longer work. The system will now only accept barcodes.
Resolved: Overdrive/Libby Access Restored
Access to Overdrive and the Libby App has been restored.
CLEVNET patrons may experience an error when connecting to Overdrive materials or logging into the Libby App. We are collaborating with Overdrive on a solution to resolve this issue quickly.
