See You at the Fair!

The Great Geauga County Fair is here!

We are excited to announce that the GCLF will be holding their Geauga County Fair Book Sale once again! Stop and shop in our book sale barn next to Gate 1. Buy a bag for $5 and fill it up! 100% of the proceeds go towards helping GCLF forward its mission to support and enhance a library system that fosters an informed, engaged, and connected community.


Book Sale Barn Hours:

Thurs. 9/2 – Sun. 9/5: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. 
and
Mon. 9/6: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

On this day GCPL will have a table with activities, giveaways, and an appearance by Rascal! Find us just outside of the Book Sale Barn next to Gate 1 beginning at 10 a.m.

We are offering one on one appointments with a librarian to help guide you through seeking grants for your needs.

Located on our website's Resource and Research page, we have databases to help your business, make your job search easier, and to help you save and manage your money. We are proud to offer the Candid family of databases, which includes the Foundation Directory Online and Grants to Individuals databases.

Getting your own Geauga County Public Library card is easy. Simply visit any GCPL location and fill out a quick form. Any Ohio resident is eligible for a card.

Geauga Skywatchers
On Monday, Sept. 13, join the Geauga Skywatcher's Club at the Chardon Branch. We will discuss the mystery and power of black holes.

Volunteer 
We are seeking volunteers for the Amish Book Collection (ABC) Program. Deliver and pickup collections of books to Amish schools once a month. The program runs from
September 2021 to April 2022.
Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to lift 15-20 lb. crates of books.

The list is categorized by grade level and each title is in the Geauga County Public library system. Click on the grade level to view the suggested titles. Each book is conveniently linked to our catalog so you can place a hold or check the exact location of the book.
