Happy Thanksgiving!
Give thanks for digital resources! The Library is always open online for downloads of the perfect dinner music or cookbook for that perfect roast turkey. While we'll be there with you online, our main location will close early on Wednesday, November 23. The Community Health Library and the main location will be closed on Thanksgiving, November 24. The Community Health Library will remain closed on Friday, November 25. The main location will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26 for the Barberton Christmas Walk.
The Modern Job Search
Learn how to uncover hidden jobs and maximize the use of online job search resources. Attendees will also learn how applicant tracking software works and how to make sure they stand out in the candidate pool. This career workshop is presented by Ohio Means Jobs Summit County.
Bring your devices and library cards to learn how to check out ebooks, magazines, and audiobooks using the Libby app. We'll help get you set up to use CLEVNET's digital collection on Monday, November 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Spillette Meeting Room.
Are you busy this holiday season? Take time out for a quick craft at the Library. Create colorful holiday ornaments with acrylic paint and clear bulbs. All supplies are provided by the Library and registration is required. For any additional information contact us at 3330-745-1194 and press 2 for the Reference Department.
Join us at noon on November 8th and 22nd to improve your flexibility by participating in a free chair yoga class. This gentle program will be led by Colleen Hohl, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor from the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina.

Reminisce about the decade of change in Barberton, where the city gained a Community Fitness Center and new fire station, celebrated our bicentennial, and the boys’ basketball team won the state championship. This program will be presented on Wednesday, November 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Spillette Meeting Room.

Bring your work basket, travel mug, and a snack to discuss the books you've been reading. All crafters are welcome. On Wednesdays, November 9 at 6:00 p.m. and November 30 at 2:00 p.m. at White Rabbit Galleries, 571 W. Tuscarawas Ave. Barberton.
Genealogy Club
The Genealogy Club meets on Tuesday, November 8 at 10:30 a.m. in the historic Board Room. All experience levels are welcome. The meetings often include a short program followed by a discussion and sharing of ideas, resources, and advice. Registration is required.
Everyone is always welcome at this book club. This month's book title is Neon Gods by Katee Robert. You can read or listen to the book in any format, and attend the discussion in person or via Zoom.
